Nathan Madden

Madden joined the Lubovitch company this year. He trained with Arnold Spohr of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Robert Ivy, attended the Atlanta and Houston Ballet Academies, and is a proud graduate of The Juilliard School. There he performed works by Jose Limón, Paul Taylor, and Martha Graham, as well as premiering works by Matthew Neenan, Nicolo Fonte, and Larry Keigwin. He was awarded the “Héctor Zaraspe Prize,” given annually to a graduate who shows exemplary talent in choreography and has continued to explore this passion for creating on dancers around the country. After receiving a BFA, he became a company member with BJM DANSE where he danced work by Anabelle Lopez Ochoa, Aszure Barton, and Mauro Bigonzetti. His regional theater credits include, Theater Under the Star (Houston) productions of “Guys and Dolls,” “Anything Goes,” and “A Chorus Line,” and “Cats” at California Musical Theater in Sacramento. He has also completed four seasons at The Muny of St. Louis, where he recently assisted Gemsy DeLappe on a production Camelot. He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and is passionate about sharing dance training around the globe. Madden is delighted to be a part of this fall season with Lar Lubovitch and this talented collection of dancers! He is eternally grateful to God, family, and friends for getting to live his dreams and looking forward to whatever comes next!
