Ashley Lindsey

Lindsey joined the company this year. He is originally from Raleigh, NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). During his time at UNCSA, he performed works by David Parsons, Jose Limon, Teri and Oliver Steele, Murray Louis and BJ Sullivan. Shortly after graduation, he was invited to join the Limon Dance Company. He has since performed through out the United States, Japan, China, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary and Mexico. Additionally he has worked with The Wes Veldink Movement, Jessica Gaynor Dance, The Inside Out Festival at Jacob’s Pillow, the Joyce Theater’s Evening of the Stars, The Bermuda Festival for the Performing Arts and the feature film “Bolden,” choreographed by four-time Tony award winner Hinton Battle. He has been honored to teach for many dance organizations and universities such as the Jose Limon Dance summer workshops, Stage International dance festival, the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Elon University and Duke University as well as workshops in Italy, Mexico and Japan.
